🇪🇺 European Union
Built for Ireland and adaptable across the EU, with configurable VAT, currency, timezone, and optional country-specific workflows. franchisetech does not claim universal compliance — fiscal integrations are enabled only where they have been set up and verified.
franchisetech records VAT rate per product and produces VAT-ready reports and Z-reports. It does not claim certification under any specific EU country's revenue authority — that remains your professional responsibility. Rates, currency, and timezone are configurable in Settings.
Kitchen display, order types, tips, split payments, and table service can be enabled per organisation in Settings. They are all off by default. Enabling them does not affect unrelated workflows.
Android and Windows connector apps are available for ESC/POS receipt printers and cash drawer triggers. Automatic drawer opening is sent after verified connector setups. A manual fallback is always present — no hardware is required to use the software.

No universal claim is made. Country-specific integrations (e.g. FiscalNet for Romania) work where specifically enabled and configured. For other EU countries, franchisetech provides VAT-ready records — professional tax advice remains your responsibility.
Yes, with manual configuration. Currency, VAT rates, and timezone are all configurable. There is no country-specific fiscal integration for other EU countries today — only Romania has FiscalNet support.
One currency per organisation. You configure it in Settings.
No. Fiscal receipt printing is currently only available for Romania via FiscalNet integration. Other EU countries receive VAT-ready records that you can submit to your own accountant.
