📥 FIFO — First In, First Out
The first ingredients purchased are the first used. This matches physical reality for perishable items and gives the most accurate current valuation.

- IFRS/IAS2 compliance requirements
📤 LIFO — Last In, First Out
The most recently purchased items are valued as sold first. In inflationary periods, this can reduce taxable profit by showing higher cost of goods sold.

4. Batch & Expiry Date Tracking

Schedule physical inventory counts without stopping operations. Staff count items on mobile devices while the POS continues serving customers. When the count is complete, the system shows discrepancies and generates an adjustment report for your accountant.
